General
Kaista is a service that enables companies to order and manage taxi ride permits digitally. The pre-ordered permits can be granted to one or more specific passengers.
Currently, companies and associations with a business ID can use Kaista. The passengers can be any person for whom the company or association wants to provide taxi rides: an employee, a partner or a customer.
Kaista operates in partnership with regional service providers, i.e. taxi companies. You can find a list of Kaista service providers here, and check if Kaista operates in your locality.

Calling to Kaista customer service phone service, including the wait times, is subject to charges. Depending on your phone plan, the following rates apply: - local network rate, when calling from a fixed line - mobile network rate, when calling from a mobile phone - international rate as applicable If you have a phone plan with limited talk, ask your operator if calls beginning with 020 are included
We add a ride-specific delivery fee of 1,49 € / ride (VAT 0 %) and 25,5 % VAT to the price of taxi rides taken on Kaista. Ultimately, you pay for the use of Kaista only based on completed rides. We do not charge a separate monthly usage fee.
The payment options on Kaista are card payment or invoicing.
Card payments: You can order permits immediately if you choose to pay with a payment card. We use the Stripe service as an intermediary for card payment traffic, which guarantees safe card payments.
Invoicing: If you prefer to be an invoicing customer, the trips will be charged afterwards with a batched invoice once a month. Fill out the application here and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Taxi ride permits
Use the Kaista service to purchase taxi ride permits easily. Currently, companies and associations with a business ID can use Kaista.
The permit link may have been sent via Kaista either to your email or by text message to your phone. Your employer may also send the permit to you personally.
With Kaista, taxi rides are charged only after the taxi driver has accepted the order. Taxi ride permits ordered in Kaista are like a credit limit: you can’t exceed it, but we do not charge you for unused permits.

Once a permit has been provided for you, here’s what to do: 1. Open the link that has been sent to you by email or text message. Click on the link in the message. 2. Enter the departure and destination addresses for your ride and confirm your order. You’ll receive an order confirmation message. 3. Follow the arrival of your taxi in Kaista. Get on board and enjoy the simplicity of travelling with Kaista. Alternatively, you can go to tilaa.kaista.fi and enter the last part of your taxi ride permit link in the travel code field.
It is up to the person who offers you the permit to decide the period of validity. The validity period and any additional restrictions can be found in the message you receive.
It is possible that you have already used the taxi ride permit which that link is for. If not, please contact our customer service.
If you have waited 20 minutes past the agreed pick-up time, please contact the service provider’s customer service. You can find the contact details of the service provider’s customer service on the order tracking page after you have ordered a taxi.
Yes. However, when ordering a taxi, we ask you to indicate the number of passengers so that the service provider can send the right size vehicle.
MyKaista
You can order taxi ride permits even if you are not signed in to the Kaista service. However, signing in gives you more opportunities to use Kaista. As a signed-in user, the information about the permits you have ordered is stored in Kaista, and you can find it in MyKaista. In addition, signing in speeds things up, as your personal and payment card details will be automatically filled in the next time you use the service.
Your company does not need to enter into a contract with Kaista to order taxi ride permits. It’s easy to order taxi ride permits online, and they will be charged to your payment card as they are used. You only need an agreement if you want us to invoice you afterwards with a batched invoice for all the taxi journeys that have been made.
Yes – and without a payment card if they wish. Contact our customer service team and we will be happy to arrange an invoicing agreement for you.
